It’s ironical. Living in the age of information, we find it hard to really get the right knowledge we need. True, with a click of the mouse, we can access tons of information on a given subject, but we need to filter through conflicting material, sometimes without arriving confidently at a conclusion.
Worse still, we get unsolicited news pushed to us daily. With misinformation, distortions, exaggerations, hoaxes, scams, gossips, how do we know what to believe in?
We need basic knowledge to get along in life. We want the truth but don’t know how to get it.
We are afraid to believe easily. But sceptics are not necessarily wise or knowledgeable.
What can we do to truly know, to know the truth of things that really matter?
